Mike and Linda Stanfield > Lonely - While traveling around St. Louis, Linda and I stumbled upon this street that ran along the Mississippi riverfront between two old warehouses that struck me as pure loneliness. This view is looking south towards Veteran's Bridge and Eads Bridge seen in the background. The Gateway Arch is just beyond the building on the right and the bustling downtown is only a few blocks away but standing where we were, it seemed as if we were miles away from them. The raw wind that was blowing and the cold rain that was beginning to fall intensified the feeling of being alone.

Mike and Linda Stanfield > Slippery Rungs - Due to the cold temperatures, the water from the hose nozzle was freezing on the ladder rungs making the trip to the top very treacherous - Part 2.
